My Parrothead Cruise 2026 Review
!
By Jan Parker

My husband and I recently went on Parrothead Cruise 2026 aboard the Norwegian Joy, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The organizers did a fantastic job putting everything together, and it really showed in how smoothly everything ran.

The bands and performers were terrific, with great energy and plenty of variety to make things fun the entire trip. While there were plenty of private activities and events for the Parrothead group to enjoy, the ship and all it had to offer was open and available to all as well.

I had the distinct honor of traveling as part of a band. There are not enough accolades for the event organizers and volunteers to cover the level of detail, care, and coordination executed at every possible point – from planning to loading equipment onto the ship and all the stuff in between to getting equipment off the ship. They made it easy for us, and we know it wasn’t easy. This same level of care was evident throughout the entire cruise for all the Parrothead activities available to this group, not just for the performers. There were several special moments that I know we will always treasure.

What really made the cruise special was the people. The Parrothead crowd was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely fun to be around. Best of all, the event raised a significant amount of money for breast cancer research which gave the whole trip an even deeper sense of purpose.

We heartily recommend cruising with this group if you can. It was a great experience overall and great fun, too!
