Panama City
City and Canal Tour
This tour is included for all participants
We will enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of modern Panama
City including visits to the banking and financial district,
and of the Old City (Casco Viejo) famous for churches, palaces,
pedestrian walkways and historical plazas. We'll stop at the
PANAART handicraft market and maybe even enjoy a refreshing
gelato. From there we'll visit the Eighth Wonder of the World,
the Panama Canal. Our tour also includes a Panamanian lunch
at Pencas Restaurant bordering the Bay of Panama
Folklore and Dinner and Show

We'll end our day with a celebration of Panama's culture
as we enjoy native art and performances art while feasting on
local favorites

Anton Valley Day Tour
This optional tour will be $75 per person
Experience the amazing natural and ecological landscape of the
Anton Valley. Zipline canopy excursions are also available.
Along with savoring the natural beauty you can also explore
the Crafts Market. While you're here keep an eye out for the
diminutive Golden Frog
Agrotourism Tour of the Hermann Gnaegi Farm
This optional tour will be $75 per person
The tour starts with a visit to Penonome, home of tobacco craftsmen
making hand-rolled cigars, a fruit export processing facility,
a crafts boutique and various agricultural operations. From
here we'll visit the rice farms in El Caño and the El
Caño Archaeological Park which includes a pre-Colombian
native cemetery. We'll then head to Marañon to take a
tour through a cashew processing plant. We'll visit a sugar
cane plantation and refinery and travel to the Albina region
to learn about salt mines and shrimp farming. Our tour also
includes a visit to the oldest Catholic church in the Americas,
The
Minor Basilica of Santiago Apostle in Nata de los Caballeros.
We'll conclude our agrotour with a visit to the Gnaegi farm
to observe its agricultural operations as well as poultry and
iguana farming
Petroglyph Tour and Victoriano Lorenzo
This optional tour will be $75 per person
We start our journey along the panoramic road towards the north
of Panama to the town of La Pintada where we will observe majestic
mountains and geological formations and plantations of orange,
coffee and flora typical of the region. Our first stop will
be The Mines where we will explore famous petroglyphs. We continue
our journey toward Farallon, La Pintada, a short walk in search
of Petroglyphs and pre-Colombian native monuments. On the way
home we'll stop at a craft tobacco factory where you will appreciate
the artistry involved in these hand made products!
